In most weddings, our focus mainly rests on the bride’s gown and all the other gowns worn by the bridal party and entourage. We seldom notice the attire that the groom and all his men are wearing. Easy as it may appear, finding the perfect men’s long coat can also pose some challenges.
And since it is a known fact that there are many varieties of choices from which a man can choose, it would still be proper to educate yourself with all the options and opportunities so that choosing the perfect one for you, for a formal occasion like a wedding, can be easier.
Remember that a wedding is not always about tuxedos. It can also be about men’s coat. And even though a man will not readily admit that choosing the right one for him matters, the truth of the matter is that it matters to him. So, for you to make the best choice for the groom or his groomsmen, look and read the following below.
For semi-formal weddings which are timed during the day, go for the dark gray or black sack men’s coat or even a gray waistcoat. Trying white pleated or even off white standard shirt, with your long necktie and a black business shoes can also be superb for a stylistic one. But if the wedding will be done on an evening schedule, choosing a dark tuxedo or men’s coat or even a business suit, accentuated with a white shirt, and coordinated a pair of shoes that is also meant for a winter wedding. And for a summer wedding, on the other hand, a light-colored or even navy blue men’s coat, business suit, or tuxedo again, coupled with a long necktie, a standard white shirt, and the coordinated shoes as well.
But if the wedding is a formal one, going for the gray or even black morning men’s coat, sometimes also known as a cutaway cost, or why not try a gray waistcoat with a stiffly starched white turn with a turndown collar, or gray-stripped trousers. Match this of course with your black leather shoes. And if the occasion will be held in the evenings, then it would be wise to wear a black tailcoat and its matching trousers and of course the black shoes.
Remember that in the attempt to choose the perfect formal wear, always bear in mind the day of the event, the degree of formality, and definitely the dress code that is very much stated in the invitation. Let us also not to forget the color matters too. Do not also forget that tuxedos are meant for tropical climates, so go for a men’s coat instead. Choosing the one that will harmonize and blend well with the occasion that calls for it and your personality that will be justified in wearing it should always be considered.
